With the purpose of legal protection and psycho-social rehabilitation of the domestic violence victims in 2003 was created Non-Governmental Organization-Anti Violence Network of Georgia. Currently the Network unites 10 crisis/rehabilitation centers in almost all regions of Georgia Organization has hot-line service and two shelters for the victims of domestic violence in Tbilisi and Akhaltsikhe (with the capacity of accommodating at one time in both shelters 17 victims).Organization is taking part in anti-drug programs and together with NGO PEONI is carrying out psycho-social rehabilitation of drug users.
